Enterprise Rent A Car - Administrative fee
While driving one of Enterprise' rentals, I picked up a red light violation. All Enterprise had to do was place the notice in one of their envelopes, address it to me, and stick postage on it.
48 cents. Not Enterprise. For reasons they won't elaborate on, this requires an administrative fee of $15.00. I'm not suggesting for a second the violation is their responsibility, only why this requires a $15.00 charge.
Could it be that Enterprise sees a way of picking their customer's pocket? Their response to my complaint was "this is stated in the contract." 1. Who stands by their rental car when picking it up and reads the contract? 2.
Simply because you put in the contract doesn't make it right. This has happened twice now, and after I complained to the Illinois Attorney General's Office this time, they waived the fee...and told me never to rent with them ever again!

So you realize Enterprise is a large company, and a ticket matched to a vehicle is mailed to the company headquarters listed on the vehicle registration and not the local office you rented it at, right? And that for the long chain of corporate employees to track down where that car was in the country, who had it, and then mail that ticket to you actually costs them more than $15 dollars right? Or are you one of those dumb *** that thinks everyone works for free except you?
I suppose you're one of those people who have no problem handing over your money. Good for you.
As to your inane comment about the long chain of people at Enterprise who had to handle this, allow me to introduce you to a brand new invention called "a computer." Next time you go to work, ask someone to show you one of these, and explain it to you. Then explain to me how spending 30 seconds on a computer requires Enterprise to spend $15 in "administrative fees." If it does, then Enterprise needs new tech support.
Wow. Cry a little more.
Here's a tip don't blow a red light.
And if you do get a ticket deal with it rather then complain. Maybe you should focus on your driving rather then 15 dollars
Hey dimwit, learn how to read. I wasn't "crying" about the violation, I was telling everyone about the Enterprise "administrative fee." They assessed this fee before I even knew about the violation (which I have taken care of oh single digit IQ.) did you make it out of fifth grade?
I did deal with it you self righteous ***. My complaint was with Enterprise, not the fact that I got a ticket, something you would have picked up if only you could read and understand English.
rampclerk, Customer service and satisfaction are very important to us at Enterprise. I would like to follow up with you.
Please email me at care@enterprise.com with the complete details, exact renting location, and any rental agreement numbers. Please reference #140408-002704.
I look forward to hearing from you soon, thank you. Chris, Social Media Monitor, Enterprise Rent-A-Car
I have already received a reply from Enterprise Chicago area customer service. They will refund the "administrative fee", but they suggest I use one of their competitors in the future.
This is the company you work for. It's alright for them to steal from their customers, but if you complain, they no longer want your business.
I will accommodate them if possible. Problem is, if you heed an insurance rental, practically every insurance company has an agreement with Enterprise.
Are you serious? You really have nerve. You expect these people to use one of their envelopes,Stick a postage stamp for 48 cents on it and Mail it to you. What have you been "Smoking".You must be smoking and I'M not joking.
