My dad has used these over the years and never had a problem, but this last time my dad took a really bad turn (he has terminal cancer) during the night the night before car was due back

I rang at 9am and explained the situation and that he was unable to take car back as he was in bed (he’s now in hospital) so asked if someone could collect it, the woman I spoke to said she could make that decision and had to speak to a manager and would call straight back, I phoned back at 9.30 and spoke to a man who said I’d spoke to the assistant manager and she had to make that decision he would get her to call when she was back in the office but said we wouldn’t be charged because of the situation.

My mam then called them back again after 10 which is the time car was due back for the woman to say well as it’s now late they would be charged for that day aswell. So they’ve been charged nearly £50 for them to collect it. It’s disgusting he physically was unable to get it back and the staff don’t seem to know what there doing. Will never use again

Have had a phone call aweek ago saying money will be deposited, still waiting with excuse after excuse of why it’s not been done yet!!
