I received two vouchers from Enterprise as a result of a class action lawsuit (Lee, et al v. Enterprise Leasing Company).

Each voucher was good for one "free" rental day for a car up to full sized. I reserved a full sized car to be picked up at the Ridgecrest, CA location and dropped off at the SNA airporttwo days later. I presented both vouchers at Ridgecrest and was told they BOTH were good for one rental day. Therefore, I requested one voucher to be returned to me, however, the man refused, stating they would be shredded.

Not only was I cheated out of one day rental, I was given a small car instead of the full sized I reserved. Further, when I tried to upgrade the car the next day in the Los Angeles area, I was told by Sharon via email that I would have to deal with Ridgecrest.

Sharon was quite aware of my original complaint, however, clearly did not care. This is the worst service I have ever received from ANY company!

Reason of review: Not as described/ advertised.

Enterprise Rent A Car Cons: Being cheated.

Location: Ridgecrest, California

Similar experience, left copies with agent when I picked up the car, discount not applied and when I returned the vehicle no one was aware of any such thing and manager denied the credit. I was offered 10% discount (about 1/4 of the voucher value) in lieu ...

I received a call from a manager and explained what happened. It was clear he was not aware of the vouchers from the lawsuit, however, he said he would comp the car, to include the gas.

Later, I received this insulting message from someone named Carol:

Hello! Thanks for contacting us about your experience. Please know that it is always within your rights not to accept the vehicle that our office offers to you. If you did not want a Dart or if it did not meet your needs then declining that vehicle and inquiring about other available inventory may have provided you with different results.

I have reviewed all of your files and I see that our Area Manager Joel called to inform you that one voucher was good for one rental and the the other voucher was a copy of the same information. The area management team will honor 2 days of rental for you. If you would like to switch out of the Dart and into a larger vehicle then you will need to work with our Ridgecrest or Monterey Park locations. You can reach our Monterey Park office by calling (323) 722-****.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions. - Carol (Reference #160526-****15)

Carol had no clue how many cars were at the Ridgecrest, CA location. No more were available.

Further, her statement that one voucher was merely a copy of the other is an outright lie since each voucher had different code numbers.
