On 12/12/17 I arrived at Enterprise Rent a Car at Kansas City Airport. I had reserved a standard size car.

Witch they failed to keep and offered me a full size pickup or a mustang. I choose the mustang vin. # 1fatp8uhoh5204924. The second day I had the car I was in the parking lot of the Ramada Inn Hotel 7333 Parvin road and as I was starting to leave the parking lot when by its self the gas pedal went to full throttle with out me pushing on the gas pedal.

I immediately slammed on the brakes Witch did absolutely nothing to stop or slow the car down. The car then turned and completed a 360 degree loop in the parking lot with the rear tires smoking. It then exited the parking lot across two lanes of traffic hitting the center median curb. I was standing on the brakes the whole time.

I then had to turn back across the median curb to avoid hitting oncoming traffic. I again crossed two lanes of traffic and went off the roadway through the grass toward the freeway on ramp. The car hit a freeway construction sign. The car went airborne and then overturned over the on ramp into a ditch.

In the police report under probable contributing circumstances the only box that is checked is vehicle defects. Also in the police report the vehicle had license plate #047mhk Oklahoma for 2017. According to Oklahoma D.O.R.

revealed that the license plate was supposed to have been replaced with license plate #etk285 on 6/12/17 for the rental company. There are numerous documented cases of this same problem happing to mustangs with the throttle sticking wide open at anytime.

Just for future reference if this happens to anyone else put the car in neutral and it’ll keep revving but won’t be able to go anywhere.

Hello, thank you for your replay. I got a replay from Hillary at enterprise in Missouri months ago.

She said that Ford was going to do an inspection on the car and the were holding it for that. She also said that I could be present at the inspection. I told her that I would not be able to do that since I live in California. She then said my insurance company agent could be there for that.

I was told by Hillary that I and my insurance company would be informed prior to the inspection date . Not true ,the inspection was done without any notice. I called my insurance agent to find out if they were informed about the inspection. They said no.

My insurance agent called Hillary and she refused to tell them the outcome of the inspection and would not release the car fax history of the 2017 Mustang 1fatpu8uhoh5204924. What are you trying to hide? Other than the fact that Ford has serious defect with there Mustangs that has been going on for well over a decade. Just because Ford refuses admit that there is major problem many people have been injured including myself with a broken left foot and a deep laceration above my right eye.

Not to mention the property damage and totaled vehicles . I read in one instance where a man's Ford Mustang throttle keep sticking wide open at times he took it to the dealer and they said there was nothing wrong with it. It was later involved in an accident because of the throttle being stuck wide open The Ford dealership then fired the technician that had diagnosis the car with no problem found. Is that how they fix the problem?

To me that is just an admission of guilt. This is just one of many documented cases of Ford's Mustang death traps!!!! I will never use your company again.

They should recall all of the Mustangs and crush them. SOMEONE IS GOING TO DIE BECAUSE OF FORD'S INABILTY TO ADRESS THE PROBLEM
